The private sector will also contribute to the revival of Karabakh

The glorious year of victory, 2020, is over, and in the new year, 2021, we face important tasks. Under the leadership of President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, preparations are underway for the Great Return to the territories liberated by the brave Azerbaijani Army. The revival of these areas will expand the economic opportunities of our country. On the instructions of the President, a unified concept for the restoration of territories, cities and villages are being prepared. The establishment of the Karabakh Revival Fund will play an important role in taking purposeful steps in this area, as well as in transforming the liberated territories into a region with a sustainable economy and high prosperity.

At a video conference on the results of 2020, President Ilham Aliyev identified tasks to ensure dynamic economic development.

The implementation of the President’s instructions and the tasks ahead were discussed at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers chaired by Prime Minister Ali Asadov on Jan. 25.

The government has once again identified the private sector as one of the priorities for 2021.
