Another event was held in honor of Olympic winners

New apartments were presented to our judokas

A dinner party was organized on the occasion of the celebration of the historical achievement of Azerbaijani judo at the “Paris-2024” Summer Olympic Games.

The national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was played at the opening of the meeting organized by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation and supported by Azercell and AZMAN HOLDING companies, and the memory of our martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of our country was commemorated.

At the event, which started with the famous song “Azerbaijan” by Muslim Magomayev, a video was presented showing the care of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for sports.

Later, video clips showing the most interesting moments of the victory of our judokas in the last Olympic games were shown.

President of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation Rashad Nabiyev, Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Chingiz Huseynzade and Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov spoke about the victory of our judokas and the care given to sports in our country.

At the event, the winners of the last Olympic Games, Hidayat Heydarova and Zelim Kutsayev, were presented with the Judo Gold Medals of the International Judo Federation.

Azer Asgarov, a member of the Executive Committee of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation and the founder of the sports club “Judo Club 2012”, announced that “AZMAN HOLDING” company has decided to reward our judokas who have won the title of Olympic champion so far and the personal trainers of our athletes who won gold medals in the last Olympics.

Later, Azer Askerov gave the symbolic key of the new apartments to 1992 Summer Olympic Games winner Nazim Huseynova, 2008 Summer Olympic Games winner Elnur Mammadliya, 2024 Summer Olympic Games winners Hidayat Heydarova and Zelim Kotsoyeva, as well as honored coaches of Azerbaijan, Tarlan Hasanov. and presented to Elkhan Mammadov.

On the basis of the scenario prepared by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, well-known singers Zulfiyya Khanbabaeva, Samir Jafarov, Sevda Alakbarzade, as well as various music groups on the theme of patriotism, different and original videos from judo competitions, interesting dances of athletes added a special color to the event.
