Our solidarity is eternal, Happy New Year!

The year 2020 is coming to an end when the coronavirus pandemic has spread all over the world and poses a serious threat to humanity, and socio-economic problems are intensifying everywhere. Azerbaijan is the only state that has been able to turn this difficult, complicated and difficult year into its Year of Victory, Victory, and Pride!

At the beginning of the year, under the wise and resolute leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the effective fight against the pandemic, protection and treatment of the population from coronavirus infection, taking necessary measures to ensure socio-economic stability, our country has it’s own military-political Demonstrating his power, he managed to save our lands from enemy occupation.

The restoration of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, the end of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is the most important result of the year we have seen off, the unprecedented achievement of our people. Operation “Iron Fist”, successfully carried out by our brave army in a short period of time, forced the occupying Armenia to surrender. This operation was written in golden letters in the history of world war.

“Karabakh is Azerbaijan!” We are grateful to the President, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Muzaffar Ilham Aliyev, the architect of our glorious Victory, who proved this truth on the battlefield thanks to the unity and solidarity of our people!

I wish God’s mercy to our heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for this Victory, patience to their parents, healing to each of our wounded soldiers and officers, health and vitality to our selfless war veterans!

At a time when the restrictions imposed by the pandemic have led to a weakening of economic activity, the Azerbaijani government has strengthened the social protection of citizens, as well as the private sector, we have supported entrepreneurs, introduced benefits. Azerbaijan is one of the least affected countries in the world due to the harmful effects of the coronavirus pandemic. Moreover, if we take into account the resources spent in the 44-day war, we can see how strong the economic stability of our country is.

We have great creative work ahead of us, new joys of victory. The restoration of native Karabakh and our liberated territories is beginning. We, entrepreneurs and businessmen, are willing and determined to act in accordance with the strategy defined by the President in this area. We will turn Karabakh into a beautiful place, a real paradise.

I must say that the year 2020 when we said goodbye, was remembered in my personal life with pleasant and joyful events. Almighty God showed me His grace and gave me two more sweet grandchildren: my daughter’s son Salim and my son’s daughter Adelya. It is my highest wish that they and all the children of our people live in peace, tranquility, and prosperity.
