It has become a good tradition for our master judo players to win victories and medals in international competitions. At the next European Championship held in Slovenia, 4 gold, 2 silver, and 5 bronze medals were obtained in individual competitions, and the Azerbaijani team rose to first place in the team competition of judokas under the age of 30.

Our master judokas regularly train at “Judo Club 2012” and we are like members of a family. The support of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation is also very valuable to us.

I should have participated in the competition. At the last moment, due to certain reasons, I could not go to the championship with the team. But the victories of my friends are my victories!

The achievement in Slovenia is a source of joy and pride. I congratulate the master judokas of Azerbaijan, led by our dear elder Farhad Rajabli, and wish them success in the upcoming competitions!

Novruz is the dearest and favorite holiday that we all celebrate in Azerbaijan. Our people have kept the traditions related to the arrival of spring alive for centuries and passed them down from generation to generation. … During the Khojaly genocide, 613 people were killed: 106 of them were women, 63 were young children, and 70 were elderly. 8 families were completely destroyed, 25 children lost both parents, and 130 children lost one of their parents. 1000 people of different ages were disabled as a result of gunshot wounds received by civilians. On the night of the tragedy, 1,275 civilians were captured, the fate of 150 of them is still unknown.

31 years have passed since the Khojaly genocide. We deeply mourn the memory of the victims of this anti-human crime committed by Armenian usurpers against the people of Azerbaijan and the peaceful citizens of our country on the night of February 25-26, 1992…

It is now clear to everyone, the entire international community, that the Khojaly genocide, which is included among the terrible crimes of human history such as Khatin, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Songmi, was caused by the events taking place in Karabakh since 1988. Since the end of the 19th century, the desire of Armenian nationalists to implement the absurd idea of “Armenia from the sea to the sea” has led to the destruction of hundreds of villages and cities, the killing of tens of thousands of innocent people, the expulsion of hundreds of thousands of Azerbaijanis from their historical lands, the death of a large number of young Armenians, and the deaths of Armenian families. resulted in tragedy…

The failed invasion intention and invasion policy of the Armenian nationalists keeps our region in tension and leads to bloodshed even today. Revanchists rise again! Using the patronage of countries that want to strengthen their position in the Caucasus, they demonstrate their intention to commit crimes and atrocities, contrary to all international norms and even simple logic, as has happened many times throughout history.

Under the leadership of President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani people, and state proved with the victory won in the 44-day war that Armenian fascism will never be able to realize its dream. The Iron Fist will always be on their heads! The Armenian nationalists who are responsible for the Khojaly genocide committed with special cruelty will definitely receive their punishment.

Peace and justice have returned to the lands of Azerbaijan freed from the occupation of Armenia. It is the third year that we commemorate the victims of the Khojaly genocide as a victorious nation.
February 26 is a sad date for every Azerbaijani. The memory of the Khojaly genocide victims is our historical memory and will always give us strength in the struggle for the protection of our people and our Motherland.
